Every two years, Ringette Ontario forms AAA All-Star teams in each of its six regions. These Regional All-Star teams will play in three sanctioned Challenge Cups amongst themselves and each team will represent their region at the Ontario Winter Games.

The Challenge Cups locations for the 2019/2020 season have not yet been selected but there will be 3 Challenge Cup tournaments. Typically the tournaments are:

  • late October early November 2019

  • early December 2019 and

  • early February 2020

The Ontario Winter Games will be held February 27 - March 1, 2020 in Orillia.

This AAA season is for all players 14 to 18 years of age as of December 31, 2019 (born between 2001 and 2005 inclusive). All AAA players must also play on an association team for the 2019-2020 season.

All players interested in the AAA roster team and development positions (5 players 1 Goalie) must be available for all evaluation sessions. Sessions can also be used as a form of player development or preparation for the next cycle of AAA evaluations.

Friday night and Saturday morning sessions are designed for all registered players. Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning sessions are invitation only. More detailed information will be provided as the schedule details (ice times/location) are confirmed.

The evaluation fee is $125.00 per player. The cheque must be mailed to Southern Region AAA Ringette Team c/o 3176 Keynes Court Mississauga L5N 2Z8 at the time of registration.

Please make the cheque payable to Southern Region AAA Ringette Team and ensure the player’s full name is clearly written on the cheque with a note stating the purpose of the cheque is for AAA evaluations, along with an email address to which a receipt can be sent.
