Katie Donovan, Roster, Southern Region AAA, 2015-16 (Southern Region AAA Ringette)

Katie plays for U19AA Mississauga. She started playing Ringette at 3 years old in the Mississauga bunny program.  She has accomplished many medals throughout her ringette career. Her biggest accomplishment has been to make Southern AAA. She views playing on the Southern AAA team as a stepping stone towards playing in the NRL League one day. In addition to playing she volunteers much of her time to coach and referee because she believes it provides an opportunity to give back to the younger generation of Ringette . 

Her favourite memories were playing for Mississauga U16AA because the coaches really pushed her to raise her level of play and encouraged her to keep working hard so she could be where she is today.      

She is in her final year at high school and is looking forward to what this year will bring and university next year.
